Val Does Not a Nationwide Release Make

I had no idea Felon existed. Why would a movie starring Val Kilmer, one of the coolest actors ever, be a limited release? Of course, looking through that imdb list, it doesn’t seem like he’s been in much of anything lately. This one definitely looks like it could go south, but it also looks to have the potential of falling just this side of kick-ass. It’s just surprising to see it kept to only L.A and N.Y. How are these decisions made? By the way, if you never saw Spartan or The Salton Sea, you should.
